This orphanage Trung Tâm Phục Hồi Chức Năng Trẻ Tàn Tật Thụy, is located in Hanoi and house people from all ages ranging from birth to adults. They are not only without families but the majority of them are disabled, blind, deaf or deformed. Because the orphanage is over-crowded and understaffed, some of the younger children, who are disabled themselves, are required to help look after the other children. The orphanage provides love and care to these many unfortunate children. In spite of their disabilities, these children are always happy to see visitors come to visit them at the orphanage because this is their only contact with the outside world. This is also their only hope that maybe one of the visitors would adopt them and provide them with a home that they never had. Seeing the smiles on their little faces and how their faces brighten up when a visitor comes to visit the orphanage, sometimes makes these poor children forgot about their pain and suffering.
